Glow starter charging question (how long to charge?)

The glow starter is powered by one 1300 mAh 1.2V nicad, and the wall charger it came with outputs 1.25V DC 150 mA... how long do i need to leave it on there if its completely dead? Im not sure how to calculate this, and I lost the directions a long time ago and forgot since then

Does the charger have a light on it? Charge it untill the light goes off, and it will shut itself off. If not, i usually charge mine overnight.

1) I have a Ofna Blue anodized glow start and the charger has a little red light and it goes on when i plug it in but it has NEVER went out i left it on for 24hr and it was still on? Or is this lite just there to let me know it has power or something?

charge time

16 hours.....and no, the light does not go out when the charge is done.

And, yes, it overcharges the cell if you leave it on continuously.

Yeah, the wall charger for my glow starter takes about 10-12 hours, so I just leave it on overnight. Light never goes off either.

The best way to determine that its fully charged is just by charging it overnight. Basically all glow plug chargers are universal at will charge at the same rate whether if you have 1300mAh or 2500mAh. I personally just let mine charge for approximatly 10 hrs. If you go over that time its no big deal if you take the starter off of the charger within a few hrs....
