300mm Super 10 Body + Serpent 950 = Possible?

By any chance this body would fit on a Serpent 950?

The usual Lola/Porsche Lemans body seems so plain and this body looks very nice indeed and has quite a high downforce design.

Comments?

The LandMax body has a longer wheelbase and is wider than will fit a 1/8 on-road.

1/8 onroads have approximately 300mm wheelbases and are about 245mm wide.

The Landmax Skyline body has a 327mm wheelbase and is 267 mm wide at the rear wheels

It seems the HPI Proceed has the awesome Toyota GT-1 TS020 body (http://www.hpiracing.com/bodies/body-p.htm) #7581. But the part number in Tower is #7505 which is 300mm for the Super Nitro RS4.

Any difference between the 2 part numbers?

If the Super Nitro body (http://www.hpiracing.com/bodies/body-s.htm) fits - that would be awesome as there are a few 300mm bodies out there from HPI:

There's actually a large choice of bodies for 1:8 super sport scale.
Serpent, HPI, Kyosho, Avioracing, Bergonzoni, BMT, Compagnucci, GS Racing, BRX, Mantua, Picco, Monaco Model all had bodies for this scale...
Keep in mind 1:8 Racing is extremely more developped in Europe that USA and a whole class concerns pan cars ("classic series")
Logically, HPI and Kyosho are far from this variety

The Serpent 950 is 245mm wide. The SNRS4 is 220mm wide. That means that if you use the SNRS4 body with the 950 your rear tires will stick out of the body by 12mm per side. I'm not sure how well the fronts will fit. I've got to see how my BMW LMR body made for the 280mm wheelbase setup on the SNRS4 fits over my MRX3 (same class and scale as the 950).

The 950 is about 265mm wide at the rear, so it's not going to fit the Super Nitro bodies that are about 40mm more narrow. I like the looks of the HPI TS020 body and the Protoform LMP body. Both a nice change from the Lola bodies.

Not sure that I did. I used a standard Kyosho KC45 clutch on a two-pin Wolfpack Radicals HPI flywheel made for big block engines.
