Latest from Novak:
The Dirt Nitro Challenge is one of the United States’ premier 1/8-scale off-road events and attracts the nation's fastest drivers and factory race teams. This year was no different as a star-studded field packed the Pro E-Buggy Division once again.
Billy Fischer used the Novak Activ8 w/Super-Tuner and Ballistic8 1.5T to power his Team Losi Racing Eight through a stunning qualifying performance. Billy was able to secure a 2nd place starting spot for the A Final. At the start, a field of motivated Pro E-buggy drivers funneled into the first turn. Billy paced off the TQ for about a lap and tried to find his groove. An early bobble dropped Billy to 5th, but he would quickly climb his way back to the front of the pack. Mr. Fischer put in a nearly flawless run that saw him battling for the lead just past the halfway point of the final.
The Dirt Nitro Challenge is no stranger to tricky track layouts, and this year saw an uphill double to the back straight. Many drivers struggled with this, but Billy was able to use his massive power to crush the double and power by for the lead. Some "open wheel racing" ensued, but Billy kept his calm, pointed the buggy to the front, and held on for a very well deserved win.
Billy's Team Losi Racing Eight on Pro-Line tires was on point all weekend. Billy was in great form turning the ONLY 12-lap qualifying run in E buggy, and repeatedly locked in the fast lap of the round. Billy is off to a great start in 2013 as he also made the A Final in both Nitro A divisions as well! Billy Fischer chooses Novak Electronics for all his electric racing needs.
