The 2012 Spektrum race was held at Trackside Hobbies in Milwaukee, WI, home of the world-famous announcer Scotty Ernst. Among the over 325 entries in attendance were Chad Due, Kody Numedahl, Sean Cochran, Mike Truhe, and Corey Peterson.

As qualifying got underway, the Team Associated vehicles of Chad Due looked unbeatable in all three classes he entered (Modified 2WD, Modified Truck, and Pro 2). Chad TQ'd three out of four rounds in 2WD and Pro2 and then topped it off by dominating all four rounds of Truck.

Kody Numedahl was the early pace-setter in the Modified 4WD class with his newly released Factory Team B44.2, placing the fastest run in the first and third qualifiers. Pro 4 was the most contested for the TQ honors and in the end it was a tie, making the front row Mike Truhe first and Kody Numedahl second.

The mains kicked off and Chad picked up right where he left off: he won the first two mains of 2WD and Truck and won the longer single A Main of Pro 2, securing him the victories in all three classes. Kody followed suit in the 4WD class, winning the first two mains, but came up short in Pro 4, yet still finishing a respectable second on the podium.

Overall, Team Associated won four of the five Modified classes, wrapping up another successful race weekend.
