Isn;t this just basically a re-badged Thunder Tiger touring car??? One thing I see that I do like is the itty bitty receiver! HEY FUTABA!!!! Why can't you make a surface receiver this small???? Every one else can! Sorry for the rant. This should make for a decent basher/ entry level/ spec racer.

not sure how i feel about this. going to have to think about this one for a while.

getting scared that AE is going to end up like losi, 500 cars that aren't worth squat, 5 cars worth owning. and a steadily growing reputation of putting out crappy under performing cars. AE is a racing company, they need to stay that way. i hate it when high end company's dumb themselves down

there new wireless one is pretty small and has great range. converted all my cars to it. very nice for the money.

As for the new "AE" car, I wonder if this will replace the TC4 club racer.

I looked at the new RX....same "footprint" as the 603FS my 3PK used....not compatible with my 3PK....so I sold my 3PK and got a Radiopost......ALL the features of a 4PKS at much less the price and smaller receivers that cost much less.

As for the car....I seriously hope not. The TC series of cars are great race vehicles. The Club Racer is a GREAT budget racer that is ideal for VTA racing. Innexpensive, tons of already existing upgrades and very durable. To me this car is only race worthy when compared to some mid level Tamiyas. A TC3/4 would most likely stomp on this thing.

Hooligan: I think you are right....I see them slowly turning into a Losi. Lots of ready to rebuild crap flooding the market and only a few vehicles that are any good. Sad day.

ok, iv thought about it and reached my conclusion.
if AE wanted to make a budget entry level RTR TC, they should have used the TC4. dumbed down a proven chassis with hop up potential rather than use this inferior re-branded play thing.
i don't like it.

and i don't like this direction. AE should not be selling thunder tiger cars as AE cars. let thunder tiger sell thunder tiger cars. and let AE sell AE cars.
