Winter Blitz At ARCS Hobbies: X Factory Wins Mod Buggy, TQs Mod Truck

Latest from X Factory:

ARCS Hobbies in Ashtabula, Ohio held its annual Winter Blitz race last weekend at their indoor track, and X Factory drivers TQed both mod buggy and stadium truck on the tight indoor track. As usual at ARCS, traction was very high, with slicks the order of the day. The track is fairly small, so we saw just eight or nine cars on the track in most races with 15 heats in qualifying.

X-Teamers Brent Wilks and Ben Mosio each took a first and a second with their X – 6 Squared buggies in qualifying, and when the third round was over it was Wilks on pole with Mosio right behind. Track owner Ryan Goff and Paul Sinclair also made the A main with their X – 6 Squareds, so X Factory had four cars in the 9-car A. In truck, Paul Sinclair, driving the new carbon fiber X – 60CF was TQ.

In the main, Wilks and Mosio checked out. The youngest members of the X Factory Team, they swapped the lead several times and eventually ended up where they started, with Brent first and Ben second. In truck, Sinclair led the first half of the race with his new slim-line truck until landing the double on top of a pair of crashed trucks on two consecutive laps! The new truck looked totally dialed, and Paul finished second.
