Baller for sure!

Seems like backlighting would make it harder to see the details on the top side of what you're working on. I could be wrong, but it seems kinda like the opposite of what you'd want.

Maybe easier for finding small parts though. Kinda a neat way to keep it from being dark in the pits though! Definitely is different.

That would be sweet if you could change colors. Play your music through it and have it changes colors to match the beats!

Disco is back!

Yeah I need to see it 1st. It would be great for presentations and looking trick on a pi table, but it might also send out to much light and actually make it hard to see.

A lighted backscreen....Big deal..

How about some real innovation.....Like a screen that big with digital touchscreen scales in it...So we could adjust tweak or weght balance on our cars

4 weight points with 4 readouts...

add weight to the car and see instantly the tweak or weight/corner change..

now, THAT is real innovation....

Fastharry - that's actually what I thought it would be when I saw the title. But really it is just a monochrome iPad without the computer...
How good would it be to have a circle under each wheel that changed in size or colour dependent on pressure, and when you have any two exerting an equal force a tie line joined them up. That would be even easier than reading numbers.

Tracing for masking is a brilliant use... You could see REALLY well!! Could also use while painting bodies to see where you "missed a spot." lol

Maybe not as useless as I originally though. But sure doesn't look promising if it makes the car almost invisible in a photo!

Maybe you could use it to hide your setup by turning it on and setting your car on it so nobody can see it.

As soon as I saw it, I thought a small light table as well. Super useful in that regard - currently I tape all my stuff to the sliding door to trace it. For working on cars...well, not so much.

Yes this board would have its uses, but LED light boards/boxes are already available and would no doubt be somewhat cheaper than this 'RC -specific' item.
