I'm sure a USB cable and a Castle BEC could be rigged to make that happen pretty cheap.
Would be neat to have it built in, but I bet it would add to the cost. Although, I have had several instances where a USB charger would be nice at the track. Even when I'm not programming an ESC, I tend to have the laptop open and on for the purpose of keeping the phone topped off.

Hi Eric, how are ya Brudda?....
According to the specs, it already has the USB outputs...just 1 ampers...I thought it would be nice if they were 2 amp for the ipads and all..

Just chillin' bro.
I thought PCs would only output something like 500mA from USB? (I could be wrong on this one)
I didn't even bother reading the specs. I'm far too lazy for that. Pretty slick it's got 'em built in anyway though! These r/c folks are getting smart on us.
2A would allow for a few more devices if nothing else, maybe even a hub to shove it all into the same single port.

There are two USB ports. Each one is rated 5.0v 1.0A if you use both at the same time. However if you only use one port you will get 2.0A. This was missed on the spec's

I don't think anyone stocks anything Thunder Power until someone special orders it. Then, distributors go "oh crap we need that!" and they keep it in stock forever.
At least that's how Horizon seemed to work during my LHS days.
