Is the Duratrax Evader ST any good?

Hey.. Im thinking of buying another RC car for xmas (a present for ME!) Is it anygood? It says its been rated fastest electric truck.

It is a really great truck. It has more features than a ruster and is really cheap. Ppl have even done ok in races with it. I think you would not regret getting one.

As far as speed goes, its not the truck that makes it fast, its what motor and batts you use. But if you get a better motor you will need a better ESC and it will have less runtime(hence why you need better packs to compinsate) and it will wear out quicker.

I bought one,, and it ran fine for about two weeks,, then nothing but trouble. Save the money and get a better truck,, AE, Losi ??

Ive had a Losi,2 Traxxas's,and the evader. The evader was the best for the buck (probobly because it was my first rc)
It had awesome features and yet it was cheap! But when I got it there was problems with the plastic, then I got the replacement parts and they were fine. (thanks goddness for the stress tech garuntee). Hope you get it, youll have a crapload of fun.

I have one and I love it! If you'd like to see further discussions on the Evader, there's a forum dedicated just for them (http://www.radiocontrolzone.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=64928) on this board. Current page count as of just a moment ago is 57. Plenty of reading!
