Airtronics Caliber 3PS????

Hey, I recieved one of these as a hand-me-down, and I need some servos. The problem is that I've read that newer servos won't work with these recievers without an adapter??? Is this only with airtronics servos or all of them?? If not do you have any recommendations for an HPI RS4 SS??

Back about 10 years ago, when i was racing off-road, the radio I had purchased is the CS2p FM radio. When I got back into RC a few years, I jsut didn't feel like spending for another radio system, when my old CS2P was still fine. Since Airtronics switched to this new Z-connector, I couldn't just use Airtronics servos. I found this (http://rcvehicles.about.com/library/rc101/blrc101_swiringa.htm) site and learned how to adapt Hitec, Futaba, Airtronics Z-type and JR servos for use with my old Airtronics receiver. If you are still unclear, feel free to ask more, or go to your LHS for visual help.
