Ok, I have a price limit of about $150-175. I want a charger with the works, AC/DC, TX and RX battery rechargeable, 6 cell NIMH rechargeable. Can you guys tell me what chargers are good and are also reliable. I am looking at the Hitec charger but it doesnt have AC/DC and I want to explore all my options.
Thanks!

well, there is the Novak Ionic charger. 160 for the AC/DC version. A friend of mine has one, and it works flawlessly. 4-8 cells, Nicad and NIMH2 charging. It works FLAWLESSLY. Novak's NiMh charging mode cannot be beat. The bummer is the low amp rate: 4A max. That will take a good long time for 3000 packs. It has .5 and 1A charge modes as well. You get a great product from Novak.
The Duratrax chargers also work well (The Intellipeak series). I do not like their "Nimh" charging mode. I think it is the same as their Nicad charging mode, but oh well. Price: 60 and up (depending on what model you get).
Integy also has a great line of chargers. The 16x5 is an awesome one. I think it is available DC only though.
DC Only chargers are not bad, when you know where to get a good/cheap power supply, such as this one HERE (http://www.mpja.com/product.asp?product=12422+PS)

Can they be recharged as well or do you buy a new one when it runs out?

they can be recharged, and with the intellipeak series you can buy a switching power supply that plugs into your wall and acts as a DC power source so you dont need to worry about your power supply going dead.

yea the integy chargers are good but do yourself a favor and find yourself a good used T-30 or 35 I recently found a T-35 for $300 and it will do anything I need it to.Save a little more dough and you will have a charger that will last you the rest of your racing days.
