View Full Version : Older Spring Clamps?

Greetings Everyone,

I'm new here, but used to be really into my R/C stuff. Well, like many people here I have a older JrX2, etc. What my problem here is that ... on the JrX2 the spring clamps on the shocks always broke easily. I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can buy more, or a new and better alternative?

Any help is welcome. I've put two pics below to pictures of what I'm talking about.

That shock looks a lot like the current Losi Shocks.
You might try the losi shock spring retainer.
I have never broken one or had one slip so far.
If possable you might try threading the shock body so that it is like a losi threaded shock. Don't thread it to deep though.
Hope that helps

The current losi shock clamps fit the old shocks. the only diff. is that they are bigger and made out of a better material. her is the info: A-5023 Spring Clamps & Cups $2.50

Exterminator and Faceman,

Thanks for your quick replies! I'll head off and check out that part number, and see what I can find. Thanks again. :)

I'm sure I'll have more questions as I get back into the hobby.
