Im wanting to get a Team Losi xxx buggy, but dont know which is would be better... What is the difference between these 2? Does the spec just have cheaper parts or somthing? Should I spend the extra money or should I just buy the spec version? Ill probably race stock buggy with it...... Please help me.
Thanks
P.S. What are some good sites to buy these kits? Im looking for prices... The only site ive looked at sofar, the spec was 149.99... and I think the regular kit was 209.99...............

They are both pretty good, the spec has some bushings though, so the reg XXX would be better...But i would highly suggest the XXX kinwald edition, you get a lot of bang for the buck. Your Whole car is graphite, everything is bearings, threaded shock bodies, and also a lot more. If you can, get the XXX KE...

Hi,
You might want to check out Team Losi's website for more info on both of the cars. If your on a budget, the XXX Spec or the B3 Sport are good value for money and the only thing i suggest getting as an upgrade if you buy one of these cars is to get the Bearing set for them. I think the B3 Sport is $129 and the XXX Spec is $149 in think. If money is no object or whatever, id by the Factory Team B3 or the XXX KE Edition. Both cars are good drives and its hard to tell them apart. It goes by driver skills and set up really.

I like the losi's more thats all....... I found some online shops last night, the xxx spec is 149.99 at all of them.... I know you probably dont want to hear this, but how fast would the xxx go with a speed gems 15t? or and 14t motor?(esc limit) A friend of mine has a b3 with a stock racing motor, and he says it hauls serious butt....

Sofast, all these cars are going to go about the same speed, given a similar setup. Although I am not goinging into the details of gear ratio, motor, etc., the B3 and XXX are both strong competitors. I have a XXX KE, which I love, but would rather have bought a B3. The XXX is very finicky about how it is built and setup, and parts seem to be a bit more expensive. If you get either car and drop in even a P2k or similar stock, I don't think you'll be disappointed. Oh, and if you are going to race and get the Losi, I would get the KE up front. Even though Graphite tends to break easier, (which WILL happen during your learning curve) the hop ups (Lunsford is the biggest) make the small cost worthwhile. When things break, replace them with the stock plastic parts. Hope that helps.

Hi SoFast,
If you a beginer at racing, i wouldnt recomend getting a motor that quick as you will be all over the place and will probably end up smashing your car up. If i were you, id go with a stock motor first like a Reddy MVP etc just to get you used to driving, then as you get better, get a faster one. Its a good idea to get to know your car and to get to know about set ups etc first before you stick a faster motor in.

All my lhs sell kits anywhere from 15-30 dollars more than any online shops:( But at least the parst are priced good. Can anyone post pics of their xxx? I cant find any pics of it, other than the ones on their site.. didnt a magazine do an article on this buggy a while back? If so, could you tell me the address for their website. Thanks
