I am just getting into R/C. I am putting togeter a GWS Pico J3-S. The instructions state" the center of gravity is located 130mm back from the rear edge of the IPS." I'm assuming this mean on the fuselage boom? Other models have usually given a measurement on the wings.

Hi Lextex,
The good folks are giving you the CG dimension from the back of the gearbox. Presunably they also gave the wing location in relation to the gearbox. Kinda weird, but I guess the engineering department felt the gearbox would stay put. There are other design issues that suggest the design department is not closely involved with flying R/C models.

Yup. The front of the wing mounts 55mm back from the IPS. I think I got it now.
