Tamiya has tackled the unthinkable by taking the best of off-road and on on-road concepts in a genetic splicing of state-of-the-art R/C machinery in a highly unique and winning Glow Engine concept. The Terra Crusher's rugged chassis will be combined with a sleek 1/8 scale Nissan 350Z body as well as special road/flat dirt tires and other specifications in an all new fully pre-assembled model. This item will retain the Terra Crusher's revolutionary FRAT (forward and reverse automatic transmission) system and the superior 2.95cc FS-18 engine.
*Photo features prototype model. Tires and other features are subject to change.

I really like the concept, but I hope it comes with a different body. :(

This is a joke, right?
RCtinkerman, you're in Japan right? Please go next door to Tamiya and see if this is real.

This is only a guess, but I don't think monter trucks do that well in Japan, so this is an alternative to help sell this new chassis in their domestic market, as well as for those elsewhere who desire something a little different. I personally prefer the truck body, but at least there's an option if I didn't....

What's so unusual about a car body on a monster truck? :p

Steve, your right, the MT's do not do well in Japan. Tamiya might not even release the TC in Japan and as smurf mentioned this model will not be produced, but you can easily make one.

I think I like Old Pharts's better anyways.
