Look on the bright side. At least we live in a country where we can enjoy such a hobby.

Is your Maxx very old, does it have a .21. It could just be that its normal wear and tear or that it needs to be beefed up to handle extra power. If its neither of these things then I would call Traxxas. The Maxx is pretty tough, this could be from a defective drive shaft. In mass production things like that slip through the cracks.

Have you done anything to the receiver? If you have cut the antenna to reduce the amount of excess sticking out of the antenna tube then theres your problem. NEVER cut an antenna just wrap it around the base of the tube before you run it up through it. Also make sure you protect it from fuel that may spill onto it. Receivers do not like Nitro!

I hope things get better for you. And welcome to the boards. The bunch here is a good one and is always helpful!

For the T-Maxx i bought it when it first came out, and im packing a .12 Picco in it. It pulls whole shots galor. But it could of been some normal wear.

As for the GT Gas never hit it. But it did have a water contact. I jumped this rock but didnt see a puddle of water so it splashed through it. But it was still ok. I blew dryed it and all. I guess it time for a fail safe.
