Hi Keith,
I saw your e-mail on this subject and wish I could help, but I have never come face-face with this receiver. I am not sure what your problem could be, since most of these receivers are marked as to which channel is associated with which socket. Did you need to know that the Hitech ststem uses ch 1 for aileron, ch2, elevator, ch3 throttle, ch4 rudder? If you are using a speed control, it would plug into ch3 and it will supply the power for the receiver and servos from the motor battery.
If the plane you are setting up does not have ailerons, then plug the rudder servo into ch1. I hope this is some help.

Dave , The Rx is marked 1-2-3-4-B/5 . top to bottom . The book shows no numbers , but the functions as you listed but starting with ailerons , bottom to top ?? Confusing ??? Thanks KEITH

Hi Kieth,
I would go with the markings on the receiver. Try just a couple of functions first. You did not say, but I am assuming that you are using an ESC with an electric motor. Disconnect the motor and plug the ESC into the slot marked 3. Plug one servo into the slot marked 1, and connect the battery to the ESC. If the servo responds to the right stick side-side, the receiver markings are OK. Basicaly, I would move the one servo around until you have identified the slots. The reson for leaving the motor diconnected is to avoid a sudden startup before you have the correct connection at the receiver.

Dave , Things were looking good . I pluged in the #1 and i was suprised that the servo made noise when i turned on the power . It did respond to the R stick , right and left . When i pluged in #4it didn't respond but now #1 twitches by itself ????? I'm getting dizzy before i ever start flying !!!!! KEITH

Hi Keith,
It sounds a whole lot like your battery is running down. Please charge or check it and try the same check again. It sounds like you have identified the plug layout, if you now connect the motor (no prop) you can check the throttle action, and this will also give you a reading on the battries charge. Generally, most of the ESC's will shut off the motor before the battery completely runs down.
Keep on pluggin',, Dave Robelen
