My Yokomo YR-4 HELP!!!!

My yr-4 handles horribly. It slides and skids and is really difficult to drive round a circuit and even just outside in a carpark.

It has slick tyres which when on concrete/tarmac do not grip at all. I raced with slicks on carpet but soon added new tyres with pins on in. Which helped a little

The car just doesnt feel good to drive and im not at all confident in its handling.

Can anyone give me suggestions to improve the handling of my yok.

When messing around with the car outside with slicks it slides everywhere! and on track too ahhhr :(

Didn't I read this on the Yokomo site? I posted a comment there as well. I own both the Yok Special and a YR4 M2 Pro (Japan version.) I have won with both. In fact, sometimes I use my YR4 in stock class. Anyways, check the Yok site for my questions and let me know.....

Yep you did im just trying to address the problem to as wider auddience as possible to get as much help as i can...


Incase anyone else is wondering its just a standard yr-4 j i think with nothing added and set up how the manual tells you
