Get a LRP F1 Reversible Esc, and a 17 or 16 turn motor, i had a 17 double and it worked really well in my buggy, it was a kyosho mad science!

LRP F1 ( 70 )
Novak Fusion ( $75 )

Or the LRP Runner, which is $50....but cant handle mods under 18t...

LRP upgraded the runner to 16 or 17 turn. Check it out. Speedgems are the best cheap mods I know of.
I don't like the F1 and don't know anything about novacs

Novak's ExplorerII $49.99 (handles modified motor down to 15T)

Trinity's Speed Gems 2 17T motor $27.99 (great torque and rpm motor)

Total $~88.00 (great set up for people switch from MSC to basic ESC)

Just my personal opinions.

50 plus 28 does not equal 88

Mellow Yellow, you are right. The exact price is $79.98.

Plus shipping or tax or both, I think 88 was probably close.
