thanx racer, lol but whats a transponder, sorry bro..........Mike

a transponder is an electronic gadgit that as you go around the track you pass over a wire in the ground usually that is connected to a computer and it sends out a signal and the computer reads this and then counts your laps...so in short it counts how many times you went around the track at a race..

that tab is for a transponder to count lap times at a race,or a good place to hang a mini nitrious oxide bottle from.;) ;)

If you race on a Track that uses Transponders to count the laps electronically, they use that tab to mount it on your vehicle.

Well I didn't realize that place wanted $70 for shipping. That makes it not worth it IMO. The new front and rear arms use the same part numbers which is stupid. You can tell the new ones because they have an extra tab on the front of the arm. They are as good or better than Kyosho arms now. The picture that Tower Hobbies has is of the new arms. They are a little narrower so the universals fit the diffs better now too. The new rear arms do away with the aluminum adjusters but they are a lot stiffer and thicker than the old ones.

The nitrious would certainly help with those big triples and on the straight, Kolor Kraft!!
Don't think it would be quite legal though.
Thank you for the info, windellmc.
The most probable reason they kept the same part # is because it was a change on the production line, and the old arms won't be avavilable anymore. It would make more sense to keep the old number, to correspond with the manual, instead of changing the number and confusing everyone. It would save them from having to print new manuals also, which would save them some money.
Keeping the same number is simpler all the way around. All they did was update the parts.. No biggie. Associated does it all the time.

I HAVE THE RB WS7 AND THE S7 FOR A BACK-UP ws7 has tons of power for medium size track and s7 is just as good if i had to do it again i would have bought 2 s7 much more consitent for me. and i think you could save about 80.00 dallars to.:)

I have an RB C-5 in my Hyper. Probably too much, but I love it.
The diff between the Ws7 and the S7, I have been told, is small but big.. lol
The WS7 has a ring machined in the hole which the carb mounts into to allow the o-ring to seat into. Also the Ws7 has a heavy duty con rod, and a special coating on the crankshaft. These are the differences as I understand them. The crankshaft and coating allow you to re-build the engine more times before the crank and con rod need replacement, allowing for more re-builds is cheaper in the long run, so it's a toss up.. For a race engine that you will use a lot and want to re-build more than once or twice, get the WS7. For a back -up that will only be run once in a while when the regular won't run for some reason, the S-7 is fine. IMO

Nice track Kolor Kraft!
Ok you 2.. out of the C5 amf WS7, which has more bottom end torq, and which one has more top speed? How would they compare to the v01b? That's what is in the Hyper now.
Come On Friday!!!:)

I think the C5 has more everything compared to the WS7. The WS7 has a smooth wide powerband, while the C5 is more peaky (from what I have heard). The C5 is best for big wide open tracks where HP really matters. Heck, even at the recent 1/8 Worlds in Uraguay more drivers were using S7/WS7s than C5s, and that was a big fast track.
You might also want to take a look at the new Novarossi Rex PR-21 P5 (5 port). I just got one and people have described it as having the bottom end of a OS and the top end of the RB.
The WS7 is a fine engine, but I was always wanting more punch out of the corners since my track is kinda tight. A 48 tooth spur gear probably would have solved my needs.

My son wants more punch out of the corners also, even with the v01b. It is already as lean as we dare put it, and he still complains! LOL!! Guess I could sneak a 12 tooth clutch bell on there, but he would notice going down the staraights, and then I would catch he-- for sure! hehe!!
We were looking at the P5 too. Have you run yours yet?
We are also looking at he the Rossi Black Magic (not from Trinity). Haven't found out if it is turbo or not yet. It even LOOKS wild. Just haven't seen one run yet. It is still sitting in the shop! $425 for that gem. One of the shops here can get the Rossi motors. hehe! ByeBye Trinity! LOL!!

soslo,
I haven't run my new P5 yet. Its going to make its racing debut this weekend. I am going to be racing on a pretty wide open track so I will get to see how good that top end is.

Let us know how it goes Kolor Kraft.
Titanium huh?? What about the lower inner pivot plates , front and rear.? Maybe the front and rear outside plates also?
Hell... Why not go all the way. Upper and lower, front and rear. inners and outers.
Have you got those?
Have to get inside lower rear in the morning. It kinda sorta got a lil' crack somehow... Mabe it was one of those cartwheels? Anyway,.. It doesn't run very well on 3 wheels.
The carbon fiber towers seem to be holding up fine, although titanium would be nice too.
When are you going to finish your website?
the_swed.... Put it together and drive it. You will be glad you did.
They go about 40, plus or minus, depending on motor and gearing.
The Ofna/Picco 01 doesn't look half bad either. Anyone ever tried it?
