I personally like Fantom mods, I've been running a 13 double in my T3 and its performed well.

Yeah, Fantom does great work. I have a 13 turn Ti-based motor wound by them & I love it. It seems to be about the torquiest & most powerful 13 I've ever tested or run, it's a real sweetie.... :)

I have tried a D4, and it was stupid fast, but, I am a fan of the TOP based motors(the Team Orion Chrome, or the Peak Aurora).

Why? Because I am getting the same ones that the Team Drivers, like Rick Howart are using, do you think you get the same motors that BK & Company use? Not bloody likely.

I have also heard great things about Fantom.

I suggest a Reedy big comm motor (Sonic2). They were seemingly cutom made for high load uses, like trucks.
Yes, I am a dang broken record. Big comm motors are simply smoother, longer lasting, and better for off road than any other motor. This is based on my own personal experience.
If every one of you went out and tried one, you would all be believers. Seriously. They rock.

Speed Gems 2 motor are good for couple runs.
So far I melted two motor endbells, one 12T and one 14T. I am now consider to use Reedy or Orion.
