I was running my Losi XX-CR buggy today and it kept changing the direction it would pull to in neutral steering. Sometimes it would pull left, right, or it would go straight. Is this what happens when the receiver and esc interferre with each other?
I have the esc mounted on the rear shock tower and the reciever on the right side very close to the front. The wires for both also run on opposite sides. The servo is good and the radio has freshly charged batteries. What's up

i would say its youre crystals or a reciever malfunction. my esc and reciever dont interfere when i put em close to each other so its prolly a busted crystal

Could be the servo is on its way out as well.
I had this problem for awhile then the servo just died. New servo no probs.

I'v heard that if u cross ur antenna wire over the battery or motor wires it interferes with ur signal. Try and get the reciver wire farther away from those other wires.

Also check to see if your servo wire is pinched anywhere. Those same problems just happened to my friend's XXCR and I couldn't find ANYTHING! A pinched servo wire was the last thing I checked and of course it was it. He managed to get the wire stuch between the top brace and I guess the graphite was messing it up.

I don't know if the syptoms were exactly the same as your, but one of my sons had a Tekin speed control with the solder fuse on it. It did all sorts of strange things, & just figured it was time to send in for repair, & replaced it with a spare Cyclone. Then one day I needed to replace my Cyclone & pulled out the Tekin, & while soldering the wires on I noticed that the solder wiggled on the fuse. Resoldered it & it worked fine. Loose wires or connectors can do strange things. Maybe it's a bad servo connector, or broken wire? You might try blowing out the receiver, but I can't remember what's best to do that with right now. A bad servo will definatelty do that, as any long term nitro guy can attest. How do you know the servo is good? Just my $.02
edit...speling

The servo wire was pinched when I checked it today. I fixed that but it still glitches so it must be shot. Is there such thing as a servo horn/servo saver in one?

Grandmaster, Is there a chance that you stripped a gear in the servo, or that the servo horn is loose, or that the stock servo saver is not tensioned right? Just lookin for posibilities. When it acts that way is it twitchy or does it just not go straight at center radio position? Joe

It doesn't twitch it just changes trim on me dramatically. One minute it's pulling left and the next it wants to go right. I'll tear down the servo and take a looksie.

Sounds more like a missing tooth on the gear set. If it were the potentiometer it would most likely twitch. Joe.
