hiya,
i have a 1700 battery pack roughly 5 years old running my tamiya bearhawk (dont laugh)

it still runs great i have a greenmachine 2 attached to it.

anyway the end of the battery broke off revealing the metal part that attaches itself to the other 3 batteries on the other side, but it has come loose how do i reconnect them/or at least get that metal plate thing to stay touching the cells othe the other side?

thanks in advance

john

Search the RC Car action magazine site. There is an article there on how to rebuild a stick pack.

Jor8, Just solder it back on. The original method to fasten it was a spotweld. These sometimes come loose due to wear & tear. On side by side packs everything is soldered together. All you need is a 40 watt soldering iron & some rosin core 60/40 solder. Try to tin the battery end with solder before soldering the tab on. Also be shure to fasten the plastic end cap back on with glue or tape to protect the bare battery end. Hope this helps.
