For trucks, the T4 is your best bet. It's got the strongest electric transmission out there, and all the weight is low on the chasis. I'm not sure about the 4Wd chassis though.

I have a T4 with the 7700 system. The tranny will handle it, no problem. Be prepared to buy lots of tires if you don't tame it down a bit, though.

Why are you set on the 7700? The rpms are so high, it is tough to gear for good driving with the big truck tires. Are you running under rules or just out in a big lot and want to go fast?
I run a MM5700 in a Losi XXX-T and it FLIES!! On just a 6 Cell NiMh pack it will easilly top over 40 mph with serious acceleration. For off Road racing I gear it down to just 33 mph and it is still as fast or faster than the 1/10 nitro truck on the medium size track we have here. If there are no limiting rules and you just want to fly, go 3S LiPo power with a MM5700 or even a 4600 with the truck tire size. The lowest I can gear the Losi XXX-T with 3S LiPo on the 5700 will still be over 45 mph, and it could go well over 60 mph.
The 7700 pulls alot of current to make silly rpms on just 6 cells. That is fine for touring cars, but is not practical in a truck with 4 inch tires. A 6 cell pack is limited to about 500 watts, and the 5700 will do that by just gearing it for the same top speed as the 7700. The 3S LiPo will do over 700 Watts into the 5700, but the 7700 will be out of spec on rpm and get very hot.
Just my 2 cents

well i dont know abought the T4 but my B4 handles a 6600 way beter than my Evader (evader- 3rd spur, 2nd pinon, 2nd diff) (B4- 1st, 1st, 1st) B/T4 wins

The B4 has the same exact transmission as the T4, and those things are almost bomb-proof. If his B4 can handle the 6600, it's not a very big jump to the 7700.
As for the Evader being able to handle the power, you need to buy some upgrades and experiment with set-ups to get it just right. (your slipper has to slip a little, the diff should be sinched tight, the mesh be good, have a good spur gear, ect.) I've been through 2 spur gears myself before I switched to kimbrough.

The T4 should be able to handle any motor you throw at it. Asso cars are famous for having bullet proof tranny's.
