I'd say get a Novak TC2 or maybe an LRP Quantum competition... I love my C2s!

I raced my XXX-S for the first time today - awesome! I installed a Novak TC2 and it worked flawlessly. The one problem you'll have with that is finding a spot for the huge cap. Someone online suggested drilling out two small holes on the side of the chassis and ty-wrap the cap. there. I did that and it worked great today. The other idea I saw was to extend it all the way forward next to the receiver.
I have read some stuff on the Quantum in magazines, sounds good. However, I don't know if it requires a cap as well, pretty much circumventing the advantage of it's small size.
I think the Novak is a great company, and they're right here in the good ole us of a. All their products are made here too. Great tech support from everyone that's had anything to say about them here online. :D

get a tc2 and a pitwizard. youll have a blast not only setting up your car but setting up your esc. i think the price will be lower if you buy the combo.
