Ok my first q is what kind of servos do u guys use. I run a XXX buggy and I currently am running a JR premium race servo. I cant remeber the torque I think it is 70 and the speed is 15 sec. I would like to get a better one but my budget is some what low. If I do have to pay $100 for a good servo than I will. What one do u recomend and please inlcude the specs. It needs to fit! My other question is how often do u guys rebuild your diff. I have had my XXcr KE for 2 years and I bought it used and I havent rebuilt it yet and it seems to work fine and smooth? Should I rebuild it often? How often do u? Thanks!

Servos, I use a Airtronics 102. The same that come with the M8, or most other Airtronics. It's not super fast, but it works. I'd say only replace the servo if it's WAY too slow, or just can't do the job. Yours sounds fine. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

The diff. In my XXX, I "rebuild" it every few packs. For the simple reason that it gets dirty. The thrust bearing gets too dirty.. so I'm gonna fix that. But, why so much? Clean clean clean. If you learn how to make it right, every time, it'll always give you the same feel. That's very important when you practice. The more you know how the car will react, the easier it is to dial it in for new conditions.

I'd rebuild that XX diff. I'm sure it could benefit from some new parts. Check for wear on the rings, and the thrust.

I run a XXX-NT offroad and I just got a new servo to replace a dead Hitec 605. I bought a FMA Direct servo 3501. They offer it in plastic, combination metal/plastic/all metal versions. It's coreless and puts out 100oz. or torque at .08 sec. It's not quite the quality of a Futaba but for $50 it's not going to get any better. I really like it.

I use a Hi-tec 925 in my XXX-T and XXX. It works really good. The specs are more than good. for a XXX. But I highly recomend it.

All metal gear, coreless motor, duel Ball bearings.
Speed @6.0v .08
Torque @6.0v 103!
Cost= $87.98
