If you like flying gliders with a other people who like to fly gliders, you should check out one of the Eastern Soaring League events. These are a lot of fun.
These are the club in the league, just to give you an idea of where the contests are held. But you don't have to be a member of any of these clubs. You don't have to be a member of any club. If you like flying gliders, this could be a fun way to enjoy it with other people of like interest.

It is lots of fun. I have been flying in the ESL events for 3 years. Orginally I only flew at the events held at our club's field, but now I have started to travel to some of the contests held at other fields. This is tons of fun.
They even have a novice class at many of the contests, and novice is usually free or almost free. How bad could that be?
I will be at the Delaware event next weekend. Maybe I will see you there. ;)
