xx4 "cr" conversion?

i have an older version of the xx4 and was wondering what this conversion is what does it improve? Also what parts you need and how to do it? Thanks for the help!!!!

Well, I the old days(pre-XX4 Worlds Edition), we took XXcr pivot blocks and cut them apart so that they looked like the stock XX4 blocks. Then, ditch the 2.5 deg rear hubs, for some XXcr hubs. Now, you can just purchase XX4 WE pivots.

This mod give the arms a swept forward stance, which slightly shortens the wheelbase. It also evenly distrubutes the deflection of the drive axles across the outdrive slot, and the universal end, instead of all 2.5 deg being taken up by the unversal end of the axle.

So, More steering, smoother power delivery, more stability on power.

My suggestion, do it.
