i need a new speed controller...first off i run a team TC3 with a trinity 2400 battery and a 13 turn trinity speed gems 2 motor...rite now i have some crap speed controller that my bro handed down to me...i can't even burn off a full battery without that thing flipping out and having it take control of my car...so i've decided to replace my speed control..but lately i've heard good things about the super rooster and the dually dual. i understand that the rooster weighs more but does its features surpass the dually dual or is the dually a better speed controller...please advise me on what mite be a better choice for my car now and what will be better if i decide to get a faster motor one day...Also i plan to begin racing one day

The SR has reverse, the Dually does not. The Dually does have two seperate throttle profiles for stock and modified motors. IF you are wanting to race you TC3, go with the Dually. If you are just kicking around, the SR would be great. Both controllers have no motor limit. I run a Dually in my TC3 and I absolutely love it.

if you can afford a super rooster buy a
cyclone tc2. there is a difference. the
cyclone's seem to have more punch.

I'd go with the Dually. Unless you have a need for reverse, then go with the SR. I have a Dually as a back up ESC and it's really reliable and has the mode for a stock or modified motor. No turn limit and stays pretty cool. I run it with a 12 turn and 2000s.

Actually, I wouldn't go with either of them. Get the Novak Reactor.

Dont get a reactor. Get a dually. The super rooster is HUGE. That thing would take up your whole freakin car man!

if you get the super rooster you may have to mount your reciever on top of your servo because its pretty big and uses alot of space

Simple, if you want reverse like the Super Rooster offers, get the Reactor. Our track allows reversing speed controls and for playing in the street, reverse is hard to beat. If this is strictly for racing, then the Dually is a good choice.
