View Full Version : Inexpensive Rustler replacements

Hey, I already checked Omni models, Tower hobbies, and Hobby Shack for a replacement diff gear and Idler gear, and dirt hawg tires and found that I have to spend atleast 50!!! dollars to get them. ANy idea wear I can get them any less expensive?? PLEASE HELP

I am only 13 and have not much money!!

What you need is the slipper clutch so that you will not strip anymore gears, Look at the back of your manual for this part. All those places you stated probably have it. Call Traxxas at 1-800-323-0069 if you need help in installing it. Also consider the machined gears.

That isn't too terible much to pay, but a slipper does help. I haven't stripped a gear in my Rustler for some time now.

My Rustler is going to be stripped for parts soon, after snapping the chassis in half and some other things that I broke. I wont sell those parts to you used though-theyre like 2-3 years old w/o a rebuild. But I am thinking on making a video and sending it to car action. Im going to CA clue my car together and take it off a 20 foot high jump during video taping and break the chassis on camera for RCCA and maybe they'll send me a new Traxxas Rustler, what do ya know, it could happen.
