That's great work. I'm sure people will want to buy 'em if you want to make 'em. How long does it take to make a set?

500swmag
05-16-2007, 10:12 PM
well, the set that is already spoken for ;) took about 4 hrs start to finish (machining) plus color finish. I might be able to turn out 4 every 2hrs with my set up but that may be pushing it. These would be some pricey nuts. :D

Umm, hey BC....I think you should change the title of your thread....and remember they are called RockNutz!

Seriously BC, those are way cool. Remember to polish off the anodizing later....

Those look KILLER!!

I am going to have to get a set myself. Those wheels don't look half bad either, we will have to get you a set of our new tires to complete the look.

I know Matt H. We have to get you a set to review as well. :)

Matt H,
I had them colored but am not happy with how they turned out. I was thinking of stripping them and re-coloring them black. Let me know what you think.

The look dialed. The red came out a little weird, but the color is very much secondary to the overall cool design and details.

Matt,
I stripped and re-colored your wheel nuts, can't have blotchy parts in a major publication. ;)

I got a little something done up tonight for your build.
Don't worry this is the only set and they're going to you. Don't wanna get
sued over copy write stuff. :D
