I have a Stampede with a Speedgem 2 17t single in it.It had a 18t pinion and the motor and the batts ran hot so I put in a 15t,now it runs longer and cooler.My question is my friend has a used trinity 6t single and a F1 pro reverse he wants to sell me for $110 and I want to know if just going to a 12t pinion will be enough of a gearing change to use this motor?If not what gearing changes can I do to take advantage of all the power of this motor?According to the manual the stock final ratio was 13.14 what I have now is 15.77 and a 12t gives you 19.72,will that be low enough gearing to run good in the truck?
