Hey, Im looking to get a cheap electric touring car to bring to the track and race a bit when Im not driving my T-maxx. I was looking at the elec 4-tec and it looks ok but what would be some other good sport/cheap cars to consider.
Thanks

Ok Im looking for a car that will cost aroung or less then 200$ for everything. I know that with that type of budget Im limiting the choices of cars that I could get but if Im going to spend well over 200$ I would rather that money go into my T-maxx or to an other nitro truck.
Thanks

What kind of support gear do you have?
Charger? Radio gear? Batteries?
I mean you can get a 4tec for about $170 RTR, TLO1 $79-99, TBO1 $149ish TAO3 $139--need radio gear for these, SPort 2 159--need Radio,ESC,motor; TC3 159, needs radio, ESC, motor. This is what I can think of off the top of my head that is at or around what you said. Might be a few more like Yokomo, OFNA, or something like that.
you need to evaluate what support gear you already have first. Then this will help in your decision. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

My recommendation would be to look on eBay. They have a bunch of RC stuff going all the time and you could pick up a quality car (TC3 or similar) for a fraction of the cost of new. Just be sure to read the descriptions carefully and go for auctions that have good focused photos. You should be able to get a complete setup <$200 if you shop wisely. This way you can spend not too much money and still be competitive with the "big boys" provided you can drive http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif
