hi there i am looking at buying a schumacher a-tech rtr touring car. its £109.99 and is complete. would this car be good for racing or fun.

That is the mini right? If it is...its only $100 US new. Also its more for fun. If you want to race that type get a mini truggy like the Kyosho Mini Inferno ST Truggy.

its a 1/10 scale touring car and cost arround $220. us.

It is very much a beginners car, you can race them as with anything but not the most competative thing in the world.

Look on eBay and go for a second hand TC4, very nice car although all the screws are imperial and parts are expensive in the UK (i get all mine from the states)

Still, if your only after a bit of fun it seems like a nice deal.

Their is also the TL-01, Alot of thoes runing around with a few pro level wins under its belt too.

i have got the tl-01 . at the moment its broke but i dont like the chassis . its annoying to work on cos its not a flat plate its a half and half brick thing (tube) so i was looking at a cheap car to get . are there any other cheap cars

Ok...fine, cheep ya say...OK, Take the TT-01 made by Tamiya for $200. Just an upgraded vertion of the TL-01. Then we have the TA-05 from Tamiya for a price of $240. Same great company just a more upgraded chais. Last but not least is the F103GT for $220. Some come with a Le Mans Courage bosy but you have bodys or get 1 for cheep.
That is all the cars that I know of under $300. Any thing else?

TT-01 is a solid car, we ran one continuously for about 9 hours and only broke a single hub! performance is also pretty good for the price, parts are cheap as anything.

:winner: atech atx is a good car just like a tc4 but better if you ask me!!!!!!!! atx was made latier, great buy!!!!!!!!!!! you just have to get the right gearing,tires and set your spring and toe in...... descent electronic you just need a servo saver and you have a better tc4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! remember schumacher is selling it!!!!!!!!!!!! they wouldn't back anything that was not worth it :teacher:

do you even own a TC4? seriously?

just because they say it doesn't make it true, the TC4 is a proven model, has won events time and again, associated are renowned for their quality and design...

IF you actually owned a TC4 you would realize just how much they lie on the advertising...its not your fault and i feel sorry for you that they do lie but, no its not as good as a tc4...not even close!

(i have looked at these things at my LHS...and i own a TC3 and TC4...both better cars)

oh, other than the fact that its shaft driven there is nothing similar either...
