Has anyone tested the difference between Hitec, Hobbico, and Tower Hobbies? There seem to be a lot of different Hitec models with exactly the same copy from Hobbico and Tower Hobbies. Just wondering if I can save a few bucks here and there or if I should just go with the Hitec?
This all started because I was looking for something with a little more speed than the Futaba S3305 and Hitec seems to have a few models, although pricier, that would fill in the gap. Thanks for any help.

I can't offer much advice as for your specific product inquiry...
But I highly recomend checking out Ace servos. The DS1313 can be had for around $75 and specs are .13/sec @ approx 180 Oz/In T. The DS1015 specs around .10/sec @ 200+ Oz/In T and can be found for around $90. I have been running the 1313 in my various buggies for over a year now and it has performed flawlessly. I even ran it on a LiPo Rx pack, direct, no volt reg (THIS IS NOT! RECOMENDED, btw) for a race meet and it is still working flawless.Check em out at www.amainhobbies.com

A local guy once sent in an older Hobbico servo to Hitec, and they sent him a brand new Hitec servo of the same specs. (it was the same servo, with hitec instead of hobbico on the box)
