RC10 World's Car

I got an RC10 World's car about six years ago and put most of the car together, but never put a motor or electronics in it. This is because I ran out of money and went to college, etc. The other day I went to the hobby store to get the stuff I would need to finish the car and the guy behind the counter said that I should consider selling the car and buying a new one because he thought it would be more valuable than what I payed for it. He said some people might pay good money for an unused World's car. I was just wondering if anybody has any opinions. It doesnt matter if its not valuable because I will just race it anyway.

Alp - post it in the trade section. There may be someone who wants it having never been run in exchange for NEW, more competition-worthy buggy.

I would keep it. You probably won't get much more than you paid for it. BUT, should you decide to sell, drop me a note.
