If my motor goes in reverse with an LrpV7.1 esc. will the speed control be damage? Why?

You must have soldered your motor wires oppositly. Unsolder them and redo them opposite to what you have now, but if you are running a schoky diod, reversed that too else it will short and blow. (Or take it off completely untill you get it working. :)
