BASHFEST 2K7...The first day was just as I thought it would be. FUN! I finally got to meet a lot of great people that I've been in communication with on RCZ for a long time now. It was great to meet you all! :) And I had a blast. Allthough, after I type this I'm heading over to the drift site!

I would like to thank all who came this weekend, what a blast!!!!!

Tom, hijacker, and Matt.....couldnt have done it without ya guys!!!! we will have much more pics, and carnage,..as people get things uploaded. All i can say is the backflip ramp seen some MAJOR air!! more than a few seen close to 30 ft. verticle, with Tom Coles Muggy reaching a new level of insanity!( those are alot tougher than i thought!)

Monster air (that is the new name of your ramp), and wow I wish I could have gone, but this year I will be better off at my local track (last day it will be open). I hope I can go in the future sometime soon as that looks like it is a blast. Hummmmm maybe tomorrow some one can try to jump over one of those trees in the background. :rolleyes:

I can't even describe how insane this has been so far!

The air some of these trucks are getting is just unbelievable. I'm too chicken to take my
Revo off the backflip ramp so far. Maybe at the end of the day tomorrow!

The second day of Bashfest was all about big jumps and frequent visits to the pit area. The guys were setting up, going HUGE, wrenching, then going huge again. Thats kinda what bash fest is all about. Meeting your fellow RCZ members, and doing some very brave and exciting jumps off gi-normous ramps. Plus having some BBQ burgers, brats and hotdogs in between is the icing on the cake. :cool: RCZ's Bashfest is sure to get bigger every year. So anyone that couldn't make it this time will certainly be there next year. I know I will.

The best part really was getting to meet all of the guys who attended. It was a great weekend! A lot of the time when you get this many guys together, there is some bickering and complaining, not so at the BashFest! Ron and I didn't hear one argument or complaint (and believe me, we were prepared for it). Everyone just came to have some fun and bash, and that is exactly what we did!

WOW! what an incredible weekend! I want to thank everyone who came for making this THE BEST r/c experience i have ever had. In almost 20 years of running, NOTHING has even came close. Granted, I ran on about no sleep, but it was worth every second of lost snoozing!

Now, to get on with the kudos....

Tom- ( 4DMNYC) I couldnt have done it without you. You ARE the man. You and RC Entertainment certainly went above and beyond the call of duty!!! The videos are incredible, and RCE kicked in some wicked prizes to help out!!

Thanks for all the pics and videos. I saw lots of life memorable moments in the making. Also noticed that lots of behind the scenes logistical considerations went into this event. From food, to frequency clips, and even the LHS on the fly support.

I think we can all say that Ryan(metalry) started the breakdown of that ramp when he missed his lineup on it and his shock took a hit.

Of course, I followed and took a piece of the ramp too.

I think I taught everyone a very good lesson however though this weekend- If you're going to bring an electric, make sure your packs are cycled!!!

Gas- 100 bucks cdn
Accomadations- 10 bucks usd, complete with 45 minutes of agony thanks to a somewhat broken tent lol
Food- 20 bucks total for 3 days(Including ryan's comment that made a waitress do a double take)

The amount of fun and laughs I had at bash- Priceless

I had an awesome time, and have 3 more chargers and another chassis on the way, and thanks to ryan, a twinforce might have to be added to my collection

4DM- you, frank and joey are all friggin hilarious. On the drive home, I thought "chargaaaaaaaa!" and couldn't stop myself from laughing

whale- thanks for the body man, and all the spares that i needed lol

hijacker- you cook a mean brawt my friend. thanks for the shims when i needed em too haha

z-man- what else can i say that hasnt been said? You def. setup and ran this thing flawlessly! Thanks to you, I'm making a drifter right now to compete with slidewayz and toms amazing acura!

Bash Fest 2K7 was one hall of an outcome. Lots of parts and a tone of smiles. There was never a dull moment. And BTW Frank What ever you drank man i want SOME! GGGAAARRRGGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

It was an impressive outcome and to those who thought that it was gonna be a flop sorry you missed all of the fun. Maybe there will be more people for next years bash. I know i will have some hang time rides setup. I wanna launch one into orbit!!!!!

Welp, just made it home to NY.

Here's a funny story....
You guys all know I got a speeding ticket in NJ on the way to BF. So we're driving back home and we're in jersey again. All of a sudden I hear Joey aka "KoKid" say "whats that?" He then sticks his head out the window and screams CARGAAAAAA at the navy blue charger driving next to us. Little did he know it was an undercover cop :eek: lol. Needless to say, we got pulled over but nothing happened. The cop asked Joe if he had a problem lmao.

So once again, It was a great expirience meeting you all and bashing with everyone. I can't wait to do it again. No other website has a closer group of members than RCZ does. And that is something to be proud of. I have a lot of work to do. So give me a little time, and I'll get some more pics and video up.

So I finally got to take my Tamiya Subaru Brat out tonight! It's soooo much fun! I haven't painted either of the bodies yet...so I didn't get any pictures, but as soon as I do get the body done, I'll post up some pics. :D Next year we'll have to have a special Tamiya bash portion where we all bust out 20 year old cars and rally like it's 1988. LOL...okay...maybe that's crazy...

Instead maybe there will be lots of Twin Forces and/or Mad Forces there next year? I know my Twin Force impressed a lot of people and got a ton of interest...you guys should all buy them! They're the best electric monster truck out there! I promise, I own them all, and it's the best one!!!

So anyways...I should have said this a while back...but...what can I say...I'm a slacker, and a procrastinator, and hell, it's almost 1 right now, so I'll probably forget some people. Please forgive me :o
