Hey,
I have a Traxxas Rustler that is about 3 years old. The truck is completely stock with i think 1200 volt Trinity batts and a Pro Max charger. And up until a few months ago the truck would run for about 15-20 minutes. But now it only runs for a total of 5 minutes. How do I solve this prob?

Wow, 15-20 mins on a 1200mah battery?!?! Lots of things could be wrong. Maybe your battery has some dead cells, if you didn't change your battery connector, that could be worn out and causing lots of resistence. Same with your motor connector. You might need new brushes or even a new motor. Your gear mesh could be too tight...lots of things to check!

have you gotten any new cars recently??? because when i got had my Epede with a 1500mah, and it seemed to last like 15-20min than i got my T3 and that lasted alot longer. so it could all be in your mind(or im off my rocker and never got back on :D )

Well I just drove the truck yesterday and now when I put the batteries in with the controller turned on or turned off it accelerates in reverse uncontrollably. And also one wheel is accelerating in reverse and the other just sits in one spot? Whats going on with this car?
Also I do have batterys in controller.

have you looked at the little nobbs that toggle the stearing and the throtle??? the throtle could be turned back.mine used to do that too but it was only when i plugged the batt into the truck and the radio was turned off.try those things.

I have done all that but the thing still drove by itself.

Do you have a mechanical speed control (with the little wiper-arm)? It could be stuck in the reverse setting. If it is, put some lube on it man!
