I got one about a month ago and ran it. Very fast for its size, estimated about 20 mph by eye. Run time of over 20 minutes on a battery charge. The dual rate on the rudder is definately needed to prevent the bow hooking in during a full speed turn. Lots of possiblities for using the parts in other boats - like the 1:48 scale Elco 80' PT (http://www.microglass.net/products/p1025.html) or 1:32 scale Swift boat (http://www.microglass.net/products/p1014.html) hulls made by Micro Glass.
