Is it bad to mix batteries for the same car/motor/esc setup?
Should I stick with only 2000s or 2400s. Is ok to mix 1800s, 2000,s and 2400s. Staying away from 3000s for now.
Looking into a Duratrax Intelipeak

It makes absolutely no differance to the motor or speed control, but it may make a differance to the charger. Most newer chargers that can handle NMH batts shoudn;t have any problem with any other nicad batts, as long as they're sub c size.

as long as you dont mean building a pack of 2-2400's and 4-2000's then go right ahead, but some chargers will not charge Ni-mh batts, they will false peak or over charge almost every single time if your using a charger for Ni-cd's

No. That would be odd having a 6 cell bat with 6 different cells. What would happen ?

Probably going to get a 2400 (probably like it too) and go with that.

3000s just run too hot for my liking. Waiting for the technology to get better.

Probably not the best idea as the batteries with the lower capacity in your pack will dump first leaving you with a partially discharged pack. The same would go with charging - thos with lower capcity will peak first and would possibly lead to false peaks or perhaps overcharging. Also, those cells with a higher capacity may develop a memory if the entire pack is not fully discharged.

It may not matter as much if you mixed a 1900 cell into five 2000s, but personally, I think it would be best not to do this. (that's why we have matched packs :) ) But I guess if you plan to use the mixed packs for play, then it probably won't matter at all.
