Hey,
I have been wanting to get a sedan for a while now. I was wondering about the XXX-S. How good is this new sedan? Does it handle good?Easy to build?Easy to get diff's,motor, gear's?Hard to set-up? If anyone know's or has one and like's to tell me about this new car please post it. I would like to hear about it. Thanks for your time.

The XXX-S is pretty sick!
A friend of mine just got it and was pretty straight forward with assembly and setup. What I really like about it was the fully enclosed gearbox/drivetrain (I have a Pro2). Full chassis instead of the double deck system. Lexan cover for the spurgear (looks kool). Batt and electronics fit nicely. Feels heavy but I don't know too much about car weight, just heavier than mine. Don't know about availabilty of parts, but I'm sure they'll have a lot for it.

I saw one race a few weeks ago in a stock class, but I think the driver had a lot to do with it.

The XXX-S is CHEAPER than the Street Weapon! But, I still don't know which one I to choose :/

givemenitro:
I have xxx-s (and also TC3), i think xxx-s is smoother than tc3, but tc3 more aggressive in term of handling. XXXS is easy to build, especially if you have allen wrenches. Quick access to diff. sealed drive train. roomy space for your electronics. Overall, i think xxxs is easy to drive and to tune. Especially it's only $179 at my LHS.

cheers

I've wrenched on, but not built from scratch a TC3. But I can't believe there is an easier kit to build than the XXX-S. I would wager that it has few parts than any other sedan out there. That's a good thing!
I raced mine for the first time today. Just like everyone's said, the manuals setup is a great start! Granted there was few racing today, but from my results I need to move up to Pro stock! ;)

i have a xxx-s, the car is quick and easy to build, but is over weight as standard, hop-up graphite are a must (as soon as the come out)
did you have any problems with the steering on the car, judder when lock and power are applied?

Simon,
If you were asking me about the steering problem, I had replied to your other thread on that. I have not seen that problem at all (though I use to have it on my Street Weapon). I did lower my total throw down to 65% though. Did you get bearings on your steering axles? Have you tried to watch it while driving it with the body off to see the source? Just a few suggestions, sorry I can't really help. I don't suppose you could look up David Spachett, he's somewhere on that little island of yours. :D

my xxx-s wheels are warped right out of the package... what is up with that... anyone else see this happen? other than that it looks like a great car. i just wish it had more room for an esc .... all i have is a super rooster right now.
