Hi guys,
OK so i was wondering if there is any trick to bringing the shine back into copper end-bells?
After a while they start getting brown which just looks ugly, i was wondering if there is anything that can bring the shine back to its former glory?

Big jim has said that LYSOL basin tub and tile cleaner works very well (in the RC Motor Black book) and i was wondering if anyone had any home-brew remedies i could try?

(p.s already tried Viniger and lemon juice on an old end bell...seems the end-bell went a strange shade of pink)

How about copper cleaner? There are some you can just dip the copper in for a few minutes, remove it and wipe it clean.

But, these cleaners are for corrosion and patina caused from aging, I think the ends of electric motors darken possibly due to heat.

Worth a try though.

yea i think the heat causes it to oxidise...so who knows maybe it will work.
