Well, I have been having a problem getting people interested enough in the rally class to actually go out and purchase one. When I do race, it peaks their interest, but little more. So, I had a brain storm. What do you guys thing about kick starting the rally class in Connecticut? How about doing a 1 day scale rally blow-out? I was thinking of finding a spot or track (I have one in mind) and run the following classes...
1. Electric Stock
2. Electric Open
3. Nitro Stock
4. Nitro Open
5. Pajero/S-10/F-150 [(Tamiya Pajero, TA01& TA02 chassis) Silver can Mabuchi]
6. Pajero/S-10/F-150 [(Tamiya Pajero, TA01& TA02 chassis) Racing Stock]
I would like to get a banner made (one from Vinyl that can be reused for future Rally Fest races), possibly purchase an Electric kit/and or a Super Nitro Rally kit as a raffle prize(s), with trophies going to the top 3 winners of each category. I would like to talk to the local Hobby Shops and possibly get them to donate bodies, tires, etc... whatever I could get. As far as electronics go... I doubt I can get any of that. I would like to get this setup for some time in August. If you guys think this is a good idea, I'd like hear from you guys and start some planning and designing of fliers, etc. I can create a new splash page with information about the race. I would like to have everything setup at least 1 month before the actual race. Allright... so get those brain buckets on and let's start talking! :D
