My brother wants to start R/C and wants to get a Truggy but dosn't want to spend more than $400. Any suggestions on which one to buy.(is the traxxas nitro rustler a good start?)

does he want a truggy or a stadium truck? The nitro rustler is a stadium truck, not a truggy. Truggies are much larger, 4wd, made to race competitively, and most cost more than $400. I would suggest the team associated gt2 for a first nitro. Its 1/10 scale, 2wd, cheap at $290, and is great for beginners.

Thanks, he wants a stadium truck.
Couldn't agree more...the GT2 is the benchmark and very cheap for such a quality machine.

definatly the GT2. and later if he decides to go racing, it could be a competitive truck.
