Well, before we make a suggestion, why don't you tell us a little about your situation, like if you've ever used anything but stocks before, how big your track is, what batteries you have, & if you're using it to race, or just play around? Knowing these things will help us a great deal to help you choose a motor that you'll be happy with.... :)

i have used a p2k pro for a while and i have gotten really good at driving with this motor, i can even beat my friend on my backyard track, and he has a nitro rustler. my track is tight in some places and has some long straits. so i am needing a motor whith alot of rpms and tork, i had an rc10gt rtr for a while and i could control the speed so that is not a problem. i am getting 2 matched 2400 batts, from promatchracing. i will be racing some and playing arround some. thanks for all the help.

if i were you i would get a speed gems 2 10 turn triple.
i run seed gems motors in all of my cars.
because you are going to race it you will need something like trinity break in drops and after every 8-10 runs clean it out with an electric motor spray like dynamite magnum force 2. and last but not least oil the bearings.
hope this helps

I'd tend to agree, though I don't think a 10 turn would be ideal for a truck, they don't produce as much torque as some milder mods. For your T3, I'd recommend something like, oh, a 14 or 15 turn to start with, it'll be more efficient than any 10 turn, it'll spool up faster(because it'll give you mmore torque), which will allow you to gear it properly, so you should have an easier time in all sections of the track(with the bigger & heavier wheels & tires, trucks always need a lot of torque). Also, keep in mind if you pick up a Speed Gems motor(which is a pretty good choice, a lot of motor for the price), you may need to advance the timing on it to get it running the way it should(Trinity always sets the timing on them to 0 degrees, but they pick up a lot if you set them to more like 15-20 degrees)..... :)

What about those monster horsepower motors?

Again Grizz is on the money! Start out with a medium wind. It'll be plenty fast, a lot more durable, & the added torque will be more fun on a truck. A 10 turn will only have you on the lathe all the time.
