HAs anyone got any pics of an E Savage Next to a Nitro Savage, or an Emaxx, OR a 1/10th Stadium truck?
I can't picture the size of it!

same size of an emaxx smaller then the Nitro savage. Bigger then a 1/10 stadium truck.
- It's disappointingly small.
- The charger is DC only and takes an hour and a half to charge 2 packs for a ten minute run.
- No Nitro Savage crossover parts.

I'm not interested in hop ups etc etc, I had a Twin brushless Fully UE/GA emaxx 2 years ago, that thing cost me $3k, and I just know If i get a Maxx it will happe nagain, where as I just wanta stock basher, and IMO the emaxx was too weak to bash in stock form.
However, £225 FULLY RTR (with charger and batteries!) thast £100 cheaper than the Emaxx, thats whats putting me off! The saving must be someone, I jus tcan't picture the size of it!

Here's a size comparison next to all of the popular electric monster trucks.

AWESOME just what I needed!
IS bottom left a stampede?
I thought the wheels would have been maxx size, do maxx rims fit this?
Does anyone make any extended TVP's for the E-Savage/E-Zilla?
Thanks

it says so on the side (stampede).

nope not maxx size, quite small like the rest of the truck. I don't know if this truck has enough offset in the arms to run the maxx set correctly. It is (as we've said) TINY.

I wouldn't call it tiny, Buts it no monster truck, Pretty much a 4wd Stampede :)
Dont know what to do now, the Stock Emaxx is £25 more, It doesnt have batteries or charger but thats fine as I have them, But Everywhere in UK is sold out, Perhaps a new one is on the way hence the massive price reductions (they are £249 now)
However, The E-MAxx is so poor in stock form! Its got ALOT of weak areas ,and I want to keep this truck stock as possible! And in this instance, it looks like the E SAvage is the better idea!
However, an XL5 pede/rustler is nearly half the price of the maxx! I could pretty much build a Brushless pede/rustler for the price of a MAxx with a few RPM bits/aluminium, and I'm gonna get alot more fun out of that!
HMM, I could do with test driving an E-Savvy. I've had countless pedes and rustlers and they are awesome, the emaxx however, was just not good enough in stock form. The E savvy looks very robust in videos (non manufacturer vids)

I dunno about the BL Stampede/Rustler. The Pede in the pic has a Mamba 5700 in it, and ya...I don't think it's that fun in the dirt. Oh hardpack dirt, or wet sand, or pavement, it's a blast, but in loose dirt I can't get it to go in a straight line. Every time I give it any throttle at all it spins out. I know it's a personal preference thing...but I'm partial to the 4WD trucks. You can run a lot of power through them and they still maintain their drive-ability.

what would you have the E-Savage or a Pede then in your opinion?
What do u prefer out of the emaxx and e savage?

E-Savage any day. The only things I don't like about my E-Savage is the parts availability. My LHS stocks the commonly broken parts, but they're unbelievably expensive. More so than the nitro Savage's parts. And then there are no aftermarket parts to make it better...or very few I should say.
And out of the E-Maxx/E-Savage...depends how you're comparting them. Box stock vs. box stock, I'd take the E-Savage hands down. If you want to modify stuff, the E-Maxx has a lot more available parts. I have a $2000 E-Maxx, a stock (will be modding it eventually) E-Savage, a BL 'Pede, and a Kyosho Twin Force Spirit. Out of the 4, the Kyosho is the one I love the most.

E-Savage vs. 'Pede.....I'd take the 'Pede
E-Savage vs. E-Maxx.....E-Maxx, no question....

Thing is I've had the Emaxx (with ALL the UE stuff!!! and a twin brushless, 18 cells etc etc, and I've had at least 4 Brushless Pede/Rustlers! All great fun, But The maxx is out the question, as In stock form, an Emaxx is Rubbish! I dont care what anyone says, I dont care about magazine reviews, a Stock Emaxx is rubbish (I'm a huge traxxas fan). $150 worth of mods, and Its awesome, But In stock form, Awful!
The Pede was great fun, Didnt cost a huge amount, got good run time and EXCELLENT in terms of durability, But Like someone confirmed in this thread, wasnt a great basher as it was silly speeds! Used to wheely rediculously and was a handful.
I just want a car I can leave stock and bash, Not waste money on hop ups, not waste money on spare parts etc etc, And I've gotta say the E Savage is looking the best bet at the moment, Its cheap, durable and pretty quick (from videos). I'd like it too be maxx size, but It isnt, which is the only down side. I also hada Savage .26 Picco (I had this a few weeks after the engine was released, when the onl ysavage as the original savage .21),as wel las various other HPi tourers (pro 3's, Pro 4's Pro 2's, Sprints, Sport 2's and the original RS4) I know hpi is a quality firm, I know the parts are expensive, But I know If i bought an Emaxx, It would end up costing me $$$$'s!
E Savage I think its going to be, then a Pede witha aluminium idler, RPM carriers and bumper and brushless it, as I have a Novak 5.5 Velociti combo in my pitt box :)
