Bob - I'm note sure what the popular brands are in the UK, but Trinity and Reedy seem to be the most popular here. I know that Corally, LRP, Orion and others are more available in the UK. I would go with one of the aforementioned and I think you'll be fine.

Reedy gives me the best luck. So I reccomend Reedy.

It is hard to say what turn will give the best torque and rpm ratings because it differs between motor companies and the individual motor. I have seen 19 turns with more rpm than a motor of lower turn. But this is the basic rule of thumb: Low turns=high rpm and low winds=high torque. Remember this is the rule of thumb and not the case for all motors. In the August issue of RCCA the Chameleon did well on the dyno and had a lot of rpm's for a 19T. More rpm than a lot of the other mods that were like 15T.
