No bout a doubt it, that's pretty insane for a B3!

Where did you get info on that motor and ESC? Does Aveox have a website?

2fast4u

ya its www.aveox.com (http://www.aveox.com)

ow ya i forgot they also have single turn motors and costom winds available!!!!!!!!

DID I MENTION THE AVERAGE EFFECENCY ON THEM IS OVER 85% !!!!! SO RUN TIME WITH 3000, 2400 WOULD BE TO BAD AND THE DON'T DRAW VERY HIGH AMPERAGE

Motors with that low of a winding are almost like a dead short on the batteries. So don't look for long runtimes, or battereis to hold up too long period.

Better have a good ESC with good shut down circuitry, and make sure you gear it so you don't have to push start the car. Those motors aren't exactly torque machines off the line.

They are designed for airplane props and boats, that require little torque to get moving.

But give it a shot, and let us know what or what doesn't happen.

BTW better lower your B3 to the ground or use an onroad car with a huge spur gear.

Hope it all works out.

you have to buy there speed controls because the motors have something like 5 or 6 wires comming out

ps i was thinking 2 3000 packs wired so its like a 6000 pack!!

and i hope i get that job at mcdonalds!! :-)

2fast4u

you can wire two 3000 packs together but it wont increase the packs mah but it will increse the voltage your packs put out and runtimes will go down

2fast4u

if you wire them differently it will increse the run just have the 2 + on the packs go to the + on the speed control and 2 - go to the-on speed control

Parallel is definetily the way to go.

I run my Clod this way, I use two 2000 packs to make 4000 mah. It runs over an hour on the stock motors.

I'm sure the guy was thinking of wiring in series, which would double the voltage and reduce the runtime.

i've just ran into a problem i can't get in touch with the jerks at aveox so i don't know if it will work but i know of 1 motor that will work but it is comparable to a 14 turn motor i'm interested in the one cliff lett used to go 94.22 mph!!! in '97 i know its the H60 but i don't know how to mount it and i don't want to spend $150 on a motor i can't use so if anydody knows how to contact cliff lett other then snail mail let me know

I think Cliff still works at Associated.

If not they might know how to get ahold of him.

It's from the days when RCCa covered oval. Oval used to be huge, especially big paved ovals.

Thunderdrome was killer.

Cliff is old school racer stuff. I think he still races but he was like Kinwald and Saxton is now.

He set record speeds on ovals, and even was going so fast he had special tires made to keep them from flying apart.

R/C Boat guys use Aveox motors a lot. You may try the message boards at www.rumrunnerracing.com (http://www.rumrunnerracing.com) for someone who'e actually used one of these beasts.

That CD collection isn't available yet.

Go to the Mag forums and ask for it.
