I have a speed gems 2 13x2. If not how do I break it in? I dont have a 4-cell battery but can I use a 6-cell?

Hummmmm never tryed that but most likly wont. I'd just get some comm drops and drop some on the brushes and comm and run the car through a pack then do that again for the next run and that should do it. I usally do that, and my motors work just as good as the next guys. Cya

I broke my Speed Gem 9x2(motor is silly fast) with the water dip. When I broke that one in, I didn't have a 4 cell either, I just used an almost drained 6 cell(you only need about 5 seconds of power) and it worked fine. If you're not going to race, I would just run the motor right in the car at slow speed.

Euro Racer i wasent able to e-mail you my reply so here it is. When i broke it in i put my motor in the car and i used a fully charged 6 cell 1500 pack. I dropped a few drops on comm drops on my comm and brushes and ran the car slowly for about a minute then i repeated. Thats about all i did and my motor works great. Cya
my friend does the water dip with his airplane motors and it works great. i have
heard of people doing this with their car motors also. i have not tried this myself yet.
